The OC, formerly St Day Old Church, is a unique community and performing arts venue. It is owned and managed by a local team who promote use by the local community, theatrical and musical events. They encourage educational use which is free to schools. The building now has no roof but is steeped in the heritage of the area and is a part of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site. Although it is an ‘open air’ venue it has a stage covered by a large all-embracing canopy. The acoustics are amazing. with the Victorian building having a magical feel inside. It has power and lighting, eco loos, a bar building and seating for 270 people and a capacity of 300.
